• Year round position. 
• 40 hours per week. 
• Overtime available in peak seasons (May- September). 
• October through April: Monday through Friday. May through September: Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday. 
• Hours are flexible but typically are 8:00 am- 4 pm or 9 am – 5 pm 

Job Requirements: 

• Must be over 18. 
• Must have pool repair experience including working knowledge of motor, pump, filter, and heater repair and replacement.
• Must have working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing principles. Must be able to perform PVC repairs.
• Must have valid driver’s license with no more than 2 points. 
• Must have reliable transportation to and from company vehicle (vehicle will be kept at a company location nearest to technician’s house). 
• Must be dependable, friendly, willing to learn, and a team player. Ability to follow direction is very important. Must take safety seriously. 
• All candidates offered a position are given a criminal background check and drivers abstract. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Repair Technician will use company vehicle to travel from pool to pool. Pools are located through out New Jersey. 
• Perform scheduled  or emergency repairs or filter system component installations such as : 

                - Troubleshooting

• Replace pump seals and broken motor or pump parts.
• Change filter media
• Repair or replace filters
• Install chlorinators and automatic water quality controllers
• Repair pvc components

                - Interacting with customers to provide support, answer questions, and provide information. 

                - Deliver small amounts of chemicals as needed (must be able to lift 50 lbs from truck or van to a hand truck). 

                - Deliver small items used for pool maintenance such as vacuum hoses, safety equipment, etc.
